this PROJECT IS A RECREATION OF A TABLE TOP GAME CALLED QUORIDOR. In Quoridor, each player races their pawn across the board to the opposite side, moving one space per turn. On their turn, a player may either move their pawn or place a wall to block an opponent, but walls must always leave at least one path open. The first to reach the opposite side wins. The top was a solid pine board that the squares were carved into. The remainder of the body was veneered with thin sheets of walnut. tHE TOP IS REMOVABLE SO THAT THE pawns and walls CAN BE STORED WITHIN. serveral layers of polyurethane was used for a protective finish.
